AI Traffic
AI Traffic shows the visitors, orders and revenue that AI assistants actually sent you - the other half of GEO, next to whether you were mentioned at all. It lives at Store → Traffic, on the AI traffic tab.
These numbers are a floor
AI apps often strip referrers, and clicks from Google AI Overviews arrive as plain google.com traffic. Real AI-driven traffic is higher than what this page can prove.
What do the figures mean?
| Figure | Exactly what it counts |
|---|---|
| AI visitors | Distinct visitors whose visit arrived from an AI assistant, identified by utm_source or referrer, tracked by your store. |
| AI orders | Orders whose store-recorded touch - utm_source, referrer or landing page - points at an AI assistant. |
| AI revenue | Total value of AI-attributed orders in the period. |
| Top assistant | The assistant sending the most visitors. |
What's in the by-assistant table?
Per assistant: visitors, cart adds, orders, revenue, conversion rate, and visibility - how often that engine mentioned your brand in tracked answers over the same period, taken from AI Visibility.
Having both side by side is the point: an engine that mentions you often but sends nothing, or sends traffic that never converts, is a different problem from one that never mentions you.
Why don't the totals convert currencies?
If your orders span currencies the page says Mixed currencies - totals are not converted. Read the per-assistant rows rather than the total in that case.
What do I need for this to work?
Visitor tracking on your storefront - see install visitor tracking. Without it there is nothing to attribute.
