Kooga Docs

Google (Search Console, GA4)

One Google sign-in grants read-only access to Search Console and Google Analytics 4. You choose which of the two to connect on Google's own consent screen.

What gets connected, and what permissions does it need?

Choose Connect with Google and sign in.
On Google's screen, tick every product you want connected. Each permission starts unticked, and anything left unticked is skipped.
Back in Kooga, pick the site and property each product should read.

Access is read-only throughout. Kooga reads your data; it does not change anything in Search Console or Analytics.

Do I have to connect both?

No. Each product appears as its own connection and can be re-synced or disconnected independently. Connect only the ones you use - you can come back and tick another later with Reconnect Google.

Why is something showing as not connected?

Almost always because its permission was left unticked during sign-in. Reconnect and tick it.
