Analytics
This is the per-article performance view: what one published article did in search and in traffic. It is the Performance panel on a published article: open the article from SEO agent → Articles.
What does it show?
Two halves, from two sources:
| Search (Google Search Console) | Traffic (Google Analytics) |
|---|---|
| Clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, and top queries with their clicks and position | Views, users, average engagement, conversions and revenue |
The top queries list is the useful one - it tells you what people actually typed to reach the article, which is often not the keyword it was written for.
Why is it empty?
Two possibilities, and the page distinguishes them:
- Publish this article to start tracking - the article is not live yet, so there is nothing to measure.
- No analytics yet - it is live, but Search Console and GA4 only report a URL once Google has crawled it, which can take days. This is normal for a new article and not a sign anything is wrong.
What do I need connected for this to work?
Search Console and GA4 - see connect analytics. Without them this page has nothing to read.
Where's the across-all-articles view?
Performance, the second tab of Articles.
