Brand voice

Brand voice is how the autopilot writes - tone, audience, and language to use or avoid. It lives at Workspace → Knowledge, on the Brand voice tab, and it applies far beyond articles: every email, article and creative follows it.

What's in the profile?

FieldWhat it's for
SummaryA short description of your brand's overall writing style and personality.
ToneA few words for the desired tone.
AudienceWho you're writing for.

The placeholders show the level of detail that works - "Confident and practical, with a friendly, plainspoken tone" rather than a paragraph.

Where does it come from?

Sync from website crawls your site and regenerates the profile automatically. You can give it a URL, or leave it blank to use the site already on the workspace. The panel shows Synced with a time, or Not yet generated if it has never run.

Should I edit it afterwards?

Yes, if anything sounds wrong. What is extracted is a starting point, and this profile propagates everywhere - a voice that is slightly off here is slightly off in every email and article you send.

Who can change it?

Syncing from the website is restricted to owners and admins. See Members for roles.

Where do I set it during setup?

Set your brand voice covers the same profile as part of the setup wizard.
