Realtime

Realtime shows who is on your store right now and what they are doing. It lives at Store → Traffic, on the Realtime tab.

What's on the screen?

Active visitors, broken down by device and by source, plus a live feed of what is happening and a table of the most recent visitors, newest first.

What do the activity labels mean?

Each visitor row says what they are doing - viewing the home page, viewing a product, viewing a category, a generic page view, searching, or adding to cart. The table also shows country, device, source, how many events they have fired, and when they were last seen.

Why is it empty?

No activity in the last few minutes means exactly that - this screen is a live window, not a history. If it is always empty, tracking is probably not installed.

How do I get tracking installed?

On a connected Shopify or WordPress store it is automatic. On any other site, copy the snippet from the Install tracking panel on this page into your storefront - it works without the chat widget. Full instructions are in install visitor tracking.

Where do I see history rather than right now?

Revenue for orders and revenue over time.
