Broadcasts
Broadcasts are one-off campaigns to a segment or to all your subscribers. They live at Email → Broadcasts.
How do I create one?
Choose New broadcast. You can write it yourself, or give AI a short brief and let it draft the campaign for you. Ones the AI planned are marked AI.
How do I style it?
Each block has a Style part under its content in Edit block:
| Block | What you can change |
|---|---|
| Heading, Text | Size, alignment, colour, and a panel colour: a coloured box behind it. |
| Button | How it stands out, size, shape, button and label colour, full width, alignment, panel colour. |
| Image | Full or half width, where a half-width image sits, rounded or square corners. |
| Divider | A solid, dashed or dotted line, and its colour. |
In Text, select words and use the buttons above the box for bold, italic or a link. Line breaks are kept. Neighbouring blocks with the same panel colour share one panel. A colour left empty uses your brand kit's, so most of the look is set once, under Email → Setup → Brand kit.
A new block goes under the one you have selected. Undo and Redo are at the top of Content (or press Cmd/Ctrl+Z and Shift+Cmd/Ctrl+Z), and each block can be moved up or down from its row.
What do the statuses mean?
Draft, scheduled, sending, sent, or canceled. Sent broadcasts show how many went out.
How do I find an old one?
Search by name, or filter to All, Draft, Scheduled or Sent.
Who receives it?
A segment, or all subscribers. Only subscribed contacts receive marketing - see Contacts for what the statuses mean.
Your plan sets how many marketing emails you can send each month - see unlimited marketing emails on Growth, or Plans.
Where do I see it on a calendar?
Open calendar, or Calendar - campaigns and articles on one grid.
What's the difference between a broadcast and a flow?
A broadcast is a one-off you send. A flow is automated and triggers on shopper behaviour.
